Selection guidelines

• Assess the person, carer(s) and environment for manual handling to ensure that you order the appropriate combination of hoist and sling
Suitable for a person who cannot bear weight
Requires 150mm (6") clearance between the floor and the base of the bed
Will not accommodate the width of a rise/recline chair
Possibly unsuitable for use with an overlay mattress
Limited lifting height - refer to the manufacturer's instructions
