Purpose:
The Samhall Turner provides rotation for standing transfers.
Features and benefits:
Adjustable height.
Allows people with upper body strength to participate in transfers.
Supports the person in an upright position.
Enables access to lower body garments.
Selection guidelines:
Assess the person, carer(s) and environment for manual handling to ensure that you order the appropriate
combination of hoist and sling.
Suitable only for a person who can bear weight and assist their transfer.
Not suitable for a person with poor balance.
Not suitable for amputees.
Caution:
Do not use if the person has reduced balance or weight bearing capacity.
