Selection guidelines

• Assess the person, carer(s) and environment for manual handling to ensure that you order the appropriate combination of hoist and sling
• Suitable for a person who cannot bear weight
• Requires 150mm (6") clearance between the floor and the base of the bed
• Will not accommodate the width of a rise/recline chair
• Possibly unsuitable for use with an overlay mattress
• Limited lifting height - refer to the manufacturer's instructions

• Avoid getting water near electrical parts
